In memory of René Dallaire, founder of the AQVA and a pillar of adapted sailing in Quebec, we wish to honour the legacy of a man whose dedication, resilience, and contagious good spirit helped shape the very DNA of our organization.
With a profoundly inclusive vision, René devoted his life to creating a space where every person living with a disability could discover the freedom, confidence, and joy that adapted sailing provides.
His determination, his courage in the face of challenges, and his radiant energy inspired generations of sailors and helped the AQVA become a true symbol of autonomy and hope.
